Mainstream Media is Suppressing Content On Luigi Mangione

And I am a victim of the suppression myself, the question is why?

Amazon blocked my book from preorder for reasons that don't make sense

Back in October 2025, I hatched an idea for a true crime book. It centered on the Luigi Mangione case and how it had been so politicized. It was a project that really excited me. Eventually, it was titled, Did He Do It? Does It Matter? The Politicization of The Luigi Mangione Case.

Over the last few months, I buried myself in research. From videos to articles, almost no stone was left unturned as I put together the book. Even the breaking news was added into the book.

I went so far as to complain about all of this breaking news on social media.

On July 1, 2026, I began putting together the publishing page for the book. A publication date was chosen, September 8, the same day that his state trial is set to start. Part of me thought this was clever marketing.

But I was the one in for a shock. Less than an hour after I submitted the page for review, I was alerted that Amazon blocked my preorder and would not allow for edits. This confused me.

What confused me even more was their reasoning. They claimed there were copyright violations and/or blocked content. However, there was an issue with this. No manuscript had been uploaded, as I was still in editing and waiting for the manuscript to be perfect.

Plus, there's some more news that I am waiting for.

I contacted Amazon and asked for answers. As of press time, they haven't given me any. But I do have a theory.

The Luigi Mangione case is being suppressed across the social media landscape.

. . .

On TikTok, creator after creator talked about their Luigi Mangione posts being suppressed. At first, it was easy to brush off their complaints and chalk it up to a post not doing as well.

When I started the research aspect of the suppression angle, I tried to prove that it wasn't real. I posted several articles and statuses about the case. Sure enough, each one did nothing. Even when I commented and engaged.

That's when I started looking into it. And what I found was disturbing but predictable.

What did I find? Those in charge of social media hated Luigi Mangione. He allegedly killed one of their own, and that made him their enemy. They feared him.

And what was worse for the billionaire class is that the poor and middle classes looked at Mangione as something of a hero. If people were cheering for him, they reasoned that it would mean he would be acquitted. Which would then empower other people to kill them.

It was much easier to suppress anything about him.

Even mainstream media was complaining about the positive posts about Mangione. Headlines across the field talked about how he was a hero to some, and there were too many people saying that he was innocent or they didn't care if he killed someone.

In my book, there is a section about the mainstream media narrative too.
. . .

Ever since December 2024, when Mangione was arrested and formally charged with the murder of Brian Thompson, the media declared him guilty. There were countless stories about how atrocious the crime was and how he should be put to death. As a reminder, a trial has not taken place yet.

Even recently, TMZ ran a story that his legal team and state prosecutors were in deep talks for a plea deal. Through anonymous sources, they said that Mangione was close to getting a deal. He would be forced to plead guilty and confess his crimes.

The problem was his legal team spoke out and said none of that was true. And indeed they have shown no interest in a plea deal; rather, they have been working to weaken both prosecution teams' cases with various motions.

Yes, it is typical defense work. But these lawyers are not the average. They are pit bulls and only take on cases they believe can be won.

Before it is said in the comments, yes, these platforms are allowed to do whatever they want. Amazon has no obligation to allow me to publish my book on their site. That is a given.

However, these are the same people who cry about freedom of speech. Well, they are mad when they are suppressed or someone they agree with faces consequences for saying something that ignites a controversy.

It bears reminding that my manuscript was not uploaded. Any decision that they made was derived from the title and the summary I gave.

Which tells me that they are suppressing material related to Luigi Mangione. And nobody should be ok with this. We should all be worried about voices being quieted.
