In looking at what's coming this year, I'm excited. I'm personally looking forward to:
- Project Hail Mary - It depicts Ryan Gosling in the lead role as a man with lost memories in space on a mission to prevent Earth's destruction.
- Supergirl - OK, I love female superheroes. This is a movie where the cousin of Superman, who was raised on a chunk of the destroyed planet Krypton and watched everyone around her die, making her a more jaded person than her cousin, who was raised on Earth by loving parents.
- Avengers: Doomsday - Yes, I like the Avengers movies. Premise - Fourteen months after the events of Thunderbolts (2025), groups of heroes from three different universes—the Avengers, Wakandans, and New Avengers from Earth the Fantastic Four from Earth and the "original" X-Men from a separate universe—converge to face the existential threat of Doctor Doom.
- Dune: Part Three - I thought part 1 was good and part 2 showed some real hope, but took forever to get to the point. I'm hopeful part 3 is the best one.
- Monarch: Legacy of Monsters season 2 - I liked the first TV series season (1), and this one looks to be even better.
- Lanterns - A new TV series based loosely on the Lantern movie.
- Star Trek: Strange New Worlds season 4 - I liked the first 3 seasons a lot, and this one doesn't look like it will disappoint anyone.
- The Bluff - A movie starring Zoe Saldana and Karl Urban, which looks quite exciting. This is one I'm really looking to watch!
- In The Grey - A movie that follows a lawyer and her team of fixers as they try to recover a one billion dollar debt from a criminal organization. It stars Henry Cavill, Jake Gyllenhaal, Eiza González, Carlos Bardem, Kristofer Hivju, Fisher Stevens, and Rosamund Pike
- Disclosure Day - A meteorologist and a cybersecurity expert find themselves at the center of a movement to expose the government's cover-up of extraterrestrial secrets.
- Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu - A movie that replaces a fourth season of the series. I want to love this as I did the series, but the early feedback is that it's not very good.
